WIRT HIGH - NORTHEAST CORNER
A lot of you who haven't been back at Wirt for decades, this is the Northeast corner of the school. In the late 70's, early 80's, they added to the high school an entire wing. The library was moved to it, an entire hall for acting, and graduation, classrooms, the "shop", and other areas to check out.

FATHER JACQUES MARQUETTE
The famous statue of Father Jacques Marquette, located in Marquette Park, just a block away from the property of William A. Wirt High School. How many people have really taken the time to walk around the statue? Look at the artistic curves and angles, in the statue? This statue will be with us forever, and it will always be the center piece of our great park in Miller. Check it out!

THE BATH HOUSE - How many people actually went to the bath house, and enjoyed the site? By the time I grew up, the building was falling apart, and there was just a play ground to the side of it (70's). But times have changed! They have rebuilt parts of the bath house, and it is now a beautiful site again. read more..
