50th Class Reunion Invitation

Dear Classmates

We are moving 9 months away from our Special Reunion Weekend starting August 20, thru August 22, 2010.  We are asking that you respond with your checks ASAP or by the end of January 2010.

The following is a breakdown of this event:

Friday, August 20, 2010 starting at 6:00 pm a Pre-Reunion Party at the Aquatorium in Marquette Park (The Old Bathhouse).  We have Flamingo Pizza, Italian Beef Sandwich's, and Salad along with an open bar featuring beer, vodka, gin, whiskey, an assortment of a few other liquors and soft drinks.  50's and 60's music, and great views of Lake Michigan.  All for the cost of $25.00 / person .  (This is our actual cost for food, beverage, rental, security, bartender, and clean up)

Saturday, August 21, 2010:  Golf for those who would want to play golf during the day, and a potential tour of the old high school.  Starting at 6:00 pm the Reunion Party at The Waterbird Banquet Facility, in Chesterton, Indiana.  Featuring a Champagne Toast, Limited Open Bar (later becoming a cash bar), complete with Appetizers before dinner, salad, a dinner featuring with Ribeye Steak and Chicken Breast accompanied with vegetables and a dessert along with two bottles of wine per table.  A Jukebox  with music from our era.

All for the cost of $ 60.00 per person.  (Once again we'd like to point out that this is the actual cost of what is provided.)  A group photo will be taken this evening for those who want to purchase it at a cost of $ 15.00.

Sunday, August 22, 2010 starting at 11:00 am a Farewell Brunch for all those who want to attend at Sally Pierce Brandau's home.  This event is being sponsored entirely by Sally at no cost to any who attend.  A fun time to wrap up our special weekend.

We, of the reunion committee, look forward to seeing you all attend this event.  It is special and one to entertain you with old classmates, and places.  One added bonus is that Ron Bicknese has been working on a book for all which contains biographical information and addresses along with e-mail addresses.  Hope you sent him your information.
